Got some up to date ideas regarding supplements.
My appt with Dr. Faber was one of the most fulfilling visits I've had in the 19 years I’ve been going to neurologists for MY ALS. I have a rare form of this rare disease so he listened to me, asked me about my and my family's experience with ALS. He said he'd be happy to see others in my extended family who have been reluctant (or unable) to journey to the two major medical centers in our state. However, they may appreciate a virtual visit that allows them to get excellent advice, help with getting medical assistance devices for their home, and even have other members of their family's tested. I have a return visit in two months and I’m looking forward to it already. I highly recommend Synapticure whether you are new to the ALS experience or someone like me who's been around several laps on this challenging journey. PS: Synapticure will be opening a mental health unit soon.
Dr. Faber had obviously reviewed prior medical reports and thus had a good familiarity with me/my case. He was very thorough and thoughtful in our discussions, gave insightful comments about past treatment and future treatment plans. Very impressive. He was better prepared and much more helpful than most other neurology consultants I had seen over the years.
I thoroughly enjoy my time with Dr. Faber. He has great "bedside manner" and in addition to his vast knowledge, he is very current with new trials. I have received a list of supplements from my acupuncturist and Dr. Faber has been both receptive and helpful in the sequencing of the dosage(s). I would highly recommend Dr. Faber to anyone with ALS!
Really takes the time to listen to your concerns and gives adequate answers

He is great
A very positive vídeo call
De. Faber is awesome!
Great Call
He said “that’s good” on many of my measurements and that is really nice to hear with a progressive disease.
Dr. Faber was very congenial, coherent and informative!
Dr. Theodore Faber redefines the meaning of Patient Care. This doctor is on a whole different stratosphere. I have never had an appointment like this. I truly felt like he cared. He gave me more time in this one appointment, than I get in a year with my current Neurologist. But, more importantly, he took the time to understand my challenges, and to discuss & think thru viable options. it's not like a 'boiler-plate' 'one size fits all' type of approach. He gave me the necessary time we both needed to answer all questions. Then concluded our appointment by asking, "What can I do for you? What do you need?" Bottle him up, and the world would be a better place.
Dr. Faber is personable and caring. He is openminded and full of anecdotal experiences that are helpful for managing my ALS symptoms. Along with Eva M. and Shanay, I always look forward to my telehealth meetings with Dr. Faber.
Great doctor
I am very blessed to have Dr. Faber. While being incredibly knowledgeable, he is extremely compasionate. He should be in the Webster's Dictionary as the definition of superlative bedside manner.
I was incredibly impressed with not only Dr. Faber’s expertise but also how thoroughly he had reviewed my medical history, the time he took to discuss and explain my symptoms, and also his willingness to discuss different approaches that might be taken in the future.
He was very pleasant listened to and addressed our needs and questions
Dr. Faber is amazing he always has new information and knows exactly where I am in my journey and makes me feel like my work in exercises is making a difference. I would rate him a 10 on your scale if it went that high.
I appreciate that Dr. Faber was prepared to talk with me about the questions I had listed in my pre-session interview form. His answers were thoughtful and helpful.
I really enjoyed talking with Dr. Tom and appreciate being able to add another layer to my Parkinson’s care. The visit was not rushed and I felt like I was his only concern during our session.
Dr. Faber is great, always willing to share insights, and positive. I didn’t have many questions or concerns this time, but it’s helpful to check in.
Very nice doctor.
Dr is great
I honestly think Dr. Farber is the embodiment of how we all hope doctors should be. Kind, empathetic, extremely knowledgeable, funny and above all else, human. A wonderful person and of course, doctor.
Dr. Faber always answers all my questions and explains why. He takes the time to listen to me.
He told me about how omega 3’s can help slow progression. My local neurologist never would have told me.
FANTASTIC visit as always.
Dr. Faber is thorough and caring. He takes the time to listen.
Spent almost 2 hours on video call and answered so many questions that we are very comfortable with Dr. Faber.
Dr. Faber is simply excellent. He is thoughtful, thorough, and comprehensive in his care.
Dr. Faber did a great job
I love this process and I am very happy with Dr. Tom. I live in a small town and this gives me options that I would not have otherwise.
Dr. Faber recalls all from previous visits and always is concerned and interested - he is a remarkable doctor
Dr. faber is great
Dr. Faber listens well, is encouraging and proactive in his approach. He has helped me with a number of things I needed that my normal ALS doctor was slow or not moving on. He understands the ALS clock.|
I think it went well. Dr. Faber understood my condition and wanted to help me with my goals. I felt validated in my concerns for my health and how to treat my disease.
Dr. Faber spent a great deal of time and did not make me feel rushed. He was very thorough and addressed all my concerns.
Dr Faber was patronizing, rude, aggravating to my mom who was in a psychotic state and unclear about answering any questions. My family was in crisis and he was unhelpful and rude
Dr. Faber was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to all of my questions. He spent a great amount of time just getting to know me as a person. His recommendations were based on his significant years of experience and gave me confidence in his answers. He was easy to talk to and made our appointment time worthwhile.
Dr Faber is a absolute genius. Love him so much.
Dr. Faber was so helpful, in that he gave me more information about Parkinson's that I had not known or understood. I felt he was listening to me and that he was empathetic. He answered my questions and I appreciated all of the time he took with me.
Dr. Faber, Crystal and the team are exceptional professionals. Always addressing our concerns, providing options and solutions. Always going an extra mile to be helpful and supportive

Dr. Faber is caring and compassionate.
Kind and compassionate, very understanding. Always willing to problem solve.
I’ll miss Dr Faber’s thoughtful listening and guidance but wish him the best as he retires from this role.
I really appreciated the knowledge that Dr. Faber has about different medicines for Parkinson’s.
Dr. Faber, Danielle and the entire team are fantastic. So sad to see Dr. Faber go.
Dr. Faber is uncommonly kind and patient. His sense of humor makes our visits enjoyable in addition to being informative and productive.
Such a caring and through doctor. Everyone has been invested in wellbeing and the personal outreach is why I keep coming back!
