Dr. Tracey Meyers joined Synapticure in 2023, providing psychotherapy and neuropsychology services to patients and their families. She is a clinical neuropsychologist with over 25 years of experience working in with people living with traumatic brain injury and stroke along with other neurodegenerative disorders. She also has worked extensively with people living with mental health and addictions challenges in psychiatric clinics and hospital settings. In addition to her neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy experience, Dr. Meyers has a strong commitment to integrative medicine for mental health and wellness and leads mindfulness and yoga programs for groups, individuals, and professionals in the workplace.
Dr. Meyers graduated from Skidmore College in 1992 and completed her doctorate in clinical psychology from Florida Tech in 1997. She completed her internship in neuropsychology at the Miami VA and her postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology and geropsychology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center.
She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the National Association of Neuropsychology, the International Neuropsychological Society, and the National Register of Healthcare Providers in Psychology. In addition, she is an advanced yoga teacher, certified C-IAYT yoga therapist, MBSR and Mindful self-compassion instructor, Breath-Body-Mind teacher, and iRest teacher.
Dr. Meyers has authored several publications and book chapters around neuropsychological assessment, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral treatment for different mental health conditions, yoga for addiction, and has written a book on yoga and mental health, Yin Yoga Therapy (Singing Dragon, 2022).
